Funny you should bring this up. We have a good chance of winning a project for a university ap system. Task mining would be required to ingest invoice data. Is there a course in LMS on task mining?

Hi everyone, learning ems for me it is not clear how a task mining project could look like, can you sahre some public doc from your experiences, that would help me and for sure others!!!

We did some local PoVs using Task Mining and combing the data with Process Mining as well. It´s not a quite task and it was very hard to match the data between both solutions. Initially the ideal is to gather all screens and all information from the machines that you will install TM. Also, please verify if the machine is been used for more than one person, if yes, verify aditional information as working journey.

After some days of data (including screenshoots) that will consume a lot, you can only select the apps that will be monitored, so you can have a filter for your analysis.

One best practice I have learned is to always run a pilot for at least two weeks before deploying to the end users. You will be able to smooth over 80+% of your problems without being on a time-crunch if you run a pilot program.

I hope it is interesting to you. My team developed Task Mining App : SAP SO Operation Discovery.

- This App use Task Mining desktop log integrated with Process Mining (O2C).

- You can look which field is edited, which button is clicked and which command is entered etc. (as below screen)

- Total throughput time in one operation and command / click / enter field count can be measured etc.

As you mentioned, my team was also struggled with how to compile desktop log to meaningful operation log, especially how case key is generated from desktop log.
