π Meet our latest Member of the Month: Irfan SuriagandaΒ
Hereβs a little information about him and what he had to say:
As a former Celonaut, Irfan joined the newly established Center of Excellence at ZEISS to help build and scale Celonis capabilities across the organization. After years of building analyses, dashboards, apps, and action flows, Irfan now focuses on global enablement, rollout, and value realization, supporting business teams in identifying process improvement opportunities and translating them into measurable business value.
What motivated you to join the Celonis Community?
My professional journey has always been accompanied by communities. Whether it was Stack Overflow when learning to code, Reddit for troubleshooting, or Slack and Teams channels at work, communities have often been the fastest way to solve a difficult problem. The Celonis Community follows the same principle. Nobody can know everything, but chances are high that someone else has faced a similar challenge before. Being able to learn from those experiences and contribute your own knowledge is a win-win situation for everyone.
What do you usually come to the Community for?
I am mainly active in the View Building Early Adopter Group, where I get the opportunity to test upcoming features before they are released to GA. I try to share my experiences from the testing and give direct feedback to Celonis Product Management. Earlier in my career, when I was more focused on development, I frequently used the Community for questions around PQL, data integration, and technical implementation topics.Β
Has there been a moment when the Community made a real difference for you?
For me, the most rewarding moments are when feedback from testing actually finds its way into the product. There have been features where my concerns, suggestions, or ideas were later reflected in the final release. Those moments show that participation is not just about reporting issues. It is an opportunity to actively contribute and help improve the platform for everyone.
Why do you think more people should get involved in the Celonis Community?
Communities become valuable when people with different experiences, backgrounds, skillsets and perspectives actively contribute. Some members bring deep technical expertise, others understand the business side, and many have learned lessons from projects that others are only just starting. The more knowledge is shared, the less everyone has to reinvent the wheel. That's also one of the reasons why we have been building and nurturing an internal Celonis Community at ZEISS for several years.
If someone followed your activity, what kind of insights or advice would they find you sharing?
Probably a mix of direct, non-filtered feedback on new features, design challenges and suggestions for scenarios that may not be obvious at first glance. I am simply looking at a feature from the perspective of the people who will eventually use it and ask myself whether it is intuitive and feels βcompleteβ.
The Celonis Community is...
...a collaborative safe space where everyone is welcome to contribute, any feedback and suggestion is taken seriously, where there is no such thing as dumb questions and where you will find comfort in knowing that you are not alone with your challenges.
