Hi,

I am trying to replicate an environment a 3rd party has set up for me (I have no access to them now).  I have data and transformations but they are all dependent on a Schema Parameter but his does not copy over.
Can anyone confirm how I create one please?

Hi Mark,

Once you import the connection in your target data pool, it should appear within your global transformation as a schema parameter. I would suggest checking the following:

  • Is the connection imported and the tables synchronized? Check the steps for this here
  • Ensure that you are checking and looking for your schema in a global data job and not a connection specific one.

Note that for your object and event transformations to pick up the connection, you will have to select it either in the catalog (if you’re using the Celonis catalog) or select it as the source for our custom object and event transformations in the Objects and Event UI.

Kind regards

William

Hi @mark.langa ,

Except for the OCPM schema parameter, schema parameters correspond to the data connections.

To create a schema parameter, you need to create and save a data connection.

As for the OCPM Schema parameter - this will appear if you are working in an OCPM Data Pool linked to the Objects and Events environment.

Hope this helps!

HI @william.falls,

That's great knowledge thank you.

Do I need to run something for them to be created? I’m currently have a data pool pulling the data and transforming this to update table headings.
I then share the data with a connection in a different OCPM pool that then does further transformation on for the Objects and events,  Its the second I am struggling with.

Thank you
