Plus, Studio creators can now define specific dark-mode brand colors to ensure custom dashboards stay readable in any view. IMPROVED Permissions management experienceWe’ve replaced checkbox-based controls with a sleek, chip-based interface in Admin & Settings. While the underlying security model remains unchanged, this update makes it faster for Admins to grant or revoke access. It’s all about making platform governance feel natural and visually clear. DATA INTEGRATION IMPROVED Increased string length limit for Cloud ExtractorsBased on customer feedback, Cloud Extractors now support string values up to 8 KB, up from the previous 80-character limit, to accommodate longer data fields. Data Engineers should monitor manual VARCHAR tables to avoid transformation errors as we scale this limit further to 65 KB in the coming weeks.NOTE: If column widths are not updated, you may encounter transformation errors such as: STUDIONEW Process Copilot Smart RoutingYou can now build a "router" Process Copilot in Studio to act as a single entry point for specialized AI tools. Note: Each call to a Process Copilot being used as a tool is made with a new id, so the chat history is not preserved from previous calls made to that same tool. IMPROVED New object-centric performance metrics in Event ExplorerWe’ve added a Synchronization tab to Event Explorer, introducing Event Lead, Sync Time, and Execution Time metrics. These out-of-the-box insights help Data Analysts pinpoint exactly where processes idle or wait for multiple inputs, making it easier to identify and eliminate hidden bottlenecks. OBJECTS & EVENTSIMPROVED Control over catalog updatesWe’ve refined catalog workflows for teams on v3.0.0+ to prevent breaking changes. Auto-updates now only apply to minor patches, while major releases require manual approval. This gives Data Engineers stable environments with the flexibility to choose when to upgrade.  IMPROVED Updated Related Objects interface for one-to-one relationshipsThe "Relationships to objects" tab now features a unified list instead of split tabs, making one-to-one links clearer for Data Architects. By using color-coded chips and directional positioning, we’ve simplified how you visualize complex data models and navigate between related object pages. For example, the Outgoing and Incoming tabs have been replaced with a single list that shows all your one-to-one relationships on one page. AUTOMATIONNEW Annotation Builder in Process OrchestrationAnnotation Builder, our AI-enhanced Studio asset for processing and labeling data, can now trigger Process Orchestrations as a starting step. This allows users to automatically launch downstream actions based on AI-generated labels. It bridges the gap between manual data labeling and automated execution within the Studio ecosystem.   NEW OAuth 2.0 available for Action FlowsWe’ve introduced OAuth 2.0 to Celonis Action Flows, allowing applications to interact securely without sharing credentials. Admins must first create an OAuth client, providing a safer, industry-standard connection method that replaces basic authentication for a more secure and robust automation setup.

The result is a more readable graph that makes intricate multi-object processes easier to understand.IMPROVED Unifying Internal and External Process Copilots We've simplified Process Copilot creation by removing the internal/external asset distinction during setup. You can now toggle external API access directly in the configuration screen to bridge your process logic with outside tools. This update replaces the fragmented creation flow, allowing you to trigger both internal and external calls from a single chat interface.IMPROVED Usability enhancements for asset-to-asset dependenciesWe've made a couple of small usability enhancements to asset-to-asset dependencies in Studio. You can now drag and drop the asset dependencies modal, giving you greater flexibility about how Studio is displayed. You can also filter dependencies by asset type.Machine LearningIMPROVED PyCelonis MLWB Read/Write Access to Augmented AttributesData Scientists and Analysts can now use PyCelonis to read and write directly to augmented attributes within the Machine Learning Workbench (MLWB). This removes the need for complex workarounds, allowing ML models to instantly update frontend Studio Views used by business stakeholders. You’ll need to update your PyCelonis package to the latest version to start driving operational apps with these live predictions. Process DesignerLeanIX/CPM integrationWe've released an integration that allows you to pull data from LeanIX and use it within Process Designer. You can access this integration via the Celonis Marketplace. Business AppsNEW Data Model Tasks included in InboxWe’ve centralized your workflow by bringing identifier-based Data Model tasks into the standard Tasks Inbox. This update allows all users to manage both record-based and model-triggered tasks in one view, replacing the need to toggle between different screens. It simplifies task management across the platform, ensuring no critical action is missed.

This move ensures you access the latest features, as legacy versions are no longer being enhanced.IMPROVED View filter enhancements We've simplified filtering in Studio for builders and business users by adding PQL visibility and edit-mode access. These changes mean you can create complex filters without starting from scratch while ensuring users only see relevant data. It fits into our vision of effortless, direct data interaction.We've also made attribute filters more user friendly. You can select which attributes can be selected by business users, helping ensure only relevant options and data are displayed and we aligned container components with other components so they can be now excluded from filtering.IMPROVED PQL editor added to select Knowledge Model entitiesThe PQL editor is now available for Knowledge entities such as auto-generated attributes and KPIs making query editing faster and clearer. This ensures smoother event processing by resolving invalid Unicode string errors. We recommend all users update to this version to maintain optimal data capture and system stability.

This feature aids in managing asset lifecycles, like preventing a Knowledge Model deletion from breaking dependent Views. IMPROVED Opening a linked View as an overlay or side panelUsability for linked Views has been enhanced, allowing Studio developers to configure the target View from within an existing View component, like a table or button. The target View can now open as an overlay or side panel, making configuration easier and improving the user experience for business users viewing linked content. This update allows for direct variable mapping to pass context between Views.PROCESS DESIGNERIMPROVED  Intranet links and other performance improvementsWe resolved an issue preventing customers from adding intranet links due to a security block. Process Designer administrators can now allow list-specific domains in the Admin section > Process Designer settings to permit intranet links. This update also includes performance improvements for adding roles and importing Symx files, and fixes for sorting list views and data loss during BPMN file imports. PROCESS NAVIGATORIMPROVED New slider widget, UI changesWe’ve narrowed the slider widget in Process Navigator so business users can see key links without screen clutter. No configuration changes are required for admins to enjoy this more intuitive, space-saving design.Additionally, we’ve made the hierarchy panel expanded by default and set global search to "Process" to save clicks for all users. This ensures consistent and optimal performance of the monitoring app. This impacts Data Engineers and Admins who monitor their pipeline.IMPROVED Enabling email alerts for scheduled data jobs Configuration for email alerts is now available for data jobs and scheduled data jobs for various events (e.g., failure, success, or exceeded execution time). This ensures Data Engineers and Admins are immediately informed about the status of their data. PI GRAPHNEW AI-powered Transformation Assistant in OCPM The new AI-powered Transformation Assistant for OCPM is designed to use available object/event context to automatically generate corresponding SQL transformation code. This is to help data experts efficiently create custom data transformation scripts for custom objects/events or extensions of Celonis objects/events, resulting in faster script creation with initial generation and side-by-side output refinement. Note that this is available to teams that accepted AI terms and currently supports SAP ECC/S4 or Oracle EBS/Fusion source systems. NEW VARCHAR length optimization in transformations now in General Availability We have set string length based on source data instead of defaulting to VARCHAR(255). This is to optimize database performance and prevent transformation failures from overlength strings. This impacts Data Engineers publishing transformations for OCPM.  PROCESS DESIGNERIMPROVED Canvas app updates The Canvas app now includes multi-select for bulk edits, navigation for subprocesses, and improved SVG export. This adds more functionality and improves the user experience for Process Designers. STUDIO VIEWSIMPROVED Configure input dropdown component with multiple variables You can now update multiple variables from a single input dropdown in Studio Views. This allows analysts to simplify views by enabling a single selection to update multiple values, enhancing customization (e.g., switching between 'Consumer' and 'Corporate' views).IMPROVED New quality insights about your Process Copilots The Monitoring page now includes Aggregate Quality Overview and a Quality Score (%) column in the Conversations table. This helps Process Copilot owners improve performance by prioritizing systemic issues and reviewing actionable failure explanations.IMPROVED Parameterized View Modules using variable mapping The ability to parameterize View Modules using View variables to change the data context is now available. You can manually reactivate a suspended data model, but it can take up to an hour for the load to restart after a PQL query is triggered. To keep you informed, email notifications are sent seven days, two days, and shortly before a data model is suspended. PI GRAPHDelete Object/Event Types & DependenciesWhen you delete a custom object or event type, the system now automatically removes many of its dependencies. This saves you time by automatically deleting:Object and event relationships Transformations Occurrences in perspectives You will still need to manually delete transformation code for certain relationships and any PQL statements you created using the deleted object or event type. PROCESS DESIGNERImproved Modeling & BPMN 2.0 ConformanceA new editor for Process Designer is now available, offering an improved modeling experience and full BPMN 2.0 conformance. The new editor supports features like pools, lanes, and message flows, and allows for inline editing. This is an opt-in change, so you can choose which editor to use without needing to migrate existing processes. Existing installations will continue to run until the deprecation of application keys by December 31, 2025. New installations will automatically have OAuth 2.0 enabled by default. DATA INTEGRATIONPartitioned extractions of large tables This update makes it possible to use partitioned extractions of large tables when extracting data from your Salesforce, SAP, ServiceNow, and JDBC databases. This allows you to chunk your data jobs into smaller batches, which can be extracted either in parallel or sequentially. This reduces extraction time and limits the chances of failure caused by high data volumes. PI GRAPHNew SQL Sandbox for testing transformation data in OCDMA new SQL Sandbox in the Objects and Events module allows you to safely test and validate your transformation data without impacting your source tables. Previously, data could only be validated by creating new objects and transformations for testing or by using objects in an existing transformation and then removing the SQL expressions before saving.Global transformation parametersThese enhancements allow you to create global parameters, which can be used across all transformations in Objects and Events. This feature saves AI outputs by preventing the re-processing of entire datasets and ensures your annotations are always up-to-date.   STUDIO VIEWS Process Animation for Process ExplorerYou can now visually depict how cases flow through your process activities with the new Process Animation feature in Process Explorer. To begin, simply hover over a start node and click the Play button. You can pause and restart the animation at any point to highlight specific activities. A new Grouping dropdown also lets you group cases by hour or day to identify patterns; when grouping is applied, the size of the animation bubble reflects the number of aggregated cases.Treemap ComponentYou can now add and configure treemaps in your Studio Views. Treemaps are a data visualization that displays hierarchical data as a set of nested rectangles, perfect for quickly identifying patterns and proportions within large datasets.  TASK MINING Permission ChangesAdmins can now assign service-level and project-level permissions to analysts, offering more granular control over user access. These new workbenches are designed to reduce maintenance by providing ongoing upgrades that will install the latest security updates and performance upgrades automatically. This update also includes an environment management feature that allows you to create individual environments using Conda without conflicts between versions or potential issues with dependencies. These new workbenches will also work with more versions of Python, making them compatible with a wider range of tools and libraries.To create this new type of workbench, select the “Jupyter Workbench” option from the Create Workbench window and then finish creating the workbench as usual. To create a workbench using the legacy format, select “Jupyter Workbench (Legacy)”. These updated versions are only available when creating new workbenches and will not impact existing workbenches. To upgrade existing workbenches to the new version, you will need to create a new workbench and then migrate the existing workbench to it. Using the new workbenches is optional, so you can continue creating workbenches using the existing version, but it is recommended that you utilize the new workbench version to take advantage of the improved functionality. PI GRAPH Global transformation parameters  You can now create global parameters that can be used across all transformations in Objects and Events. This reduces the multiple recurring steps and thereby clicks when (re)creating and updating local transformation parameters, making transformation parameters scalable across your Object Centric data.When creating transformation parameters, select Global and either add a new parameters or apply an existing one:For more information about modeling your objects and events, see: Creating custom transformations. PI GRAPH Import from table now supports DATE columns as attributes  The Import from table functionality has been upgraded to allow you to import a table containing a DATE column and use that column to create an attribute. Previously, when creating an Object type by importing a table with a DATE column, that DATE column was unsupported and could not be used as an attribute. With this update, the DATE column will automatically be cast as a TIMESTAMP during the transformation and can be used to create an attribute. If enabled, the platform passes the parameter 'includeInactive=false' in all extraction requests, alerting SAP Ariba to exclude any inactive records on a table level. These new features will provide Admins with an additional option for their AI services, as well as providing both more insight into where their assets are being used and more control over the AI Output consumption.Admins will be able to configure the Bring your own Model (BYOM) option to connect self-hosted LLMs on Azure, AWS and OpenAI compliant environments to their Celonis teams. This feature allows Admins to reuse their existing LLM deployments in Celonis. Users can also see the specifics of their AI consumption in the Consumption Details screen by clicking the “See consumption details” in the upper right of the AI Settings screen. From this screen, users can see the total number of outputs being consumed by each Service Provider, as well as a more detailed breakdown of each AI product in the Consumers table, including the assigned LLM, when the product was last used, and the number of outputs consumed. The new AI Assets in Studio tab provides a detailed breakdown of the team’s AI Assets, such as Annotation Builders and Process Copilots, that are currently in use. From this tab, Admins can see where each AI asset is being used, the type of asset, the LLM assigned, and the service provider. Admins can also use the toggle switch to disable individual assets and pause their AI Output consumption. This means that any updates in your data lake are automatically shared to your Celonis data pool.The benefits of this connection include:Enables you to mirror your Microsoft Fabric data to Celonis via a zero-copy integration. Embeds Celonis as a native workload within your Microsoft Fabric environment. Secures your data as it remains in its original location, preserving your data governance.To learn more about connecting to your Microsoft Fabric account, see: Microsoft Fabric.MACHINE LEARNING Updated user interface for the Machine Learning Workbench  The user interface for the Machine Learning Workbench (MLWB) is being updated with a cleaner and more modern look that is more aligned with the rest of the Celonis platform. This new interface does not provide any additional functionality, so it will not change how users interact with their existing workbenches, but this update will make it easier for Celonis to release new MLWB features in the future. This new interface will be applied to all existing workbenches automatically, however, users will still be able to access the previous interface by clicking the Back to the old UI link in the upper right corner. Users can then click the Go to the new UI link in the older interface to return to the updated version. PI GRAPH Run multiple data jobs for different perspectives You can now run multiple object-centric data jobs in parallel for different perspectives. If there are overlaps in your required objects or events, the respective transformation will be queued to avoid read-write conflicts.In this example, a 'Sales Order' object is being used in both the Accounts Receivable (AR) and Order Management (OM) processes. These data jobs are scheduled to run at the same time:When you check the transformation logs, you can then seen that the OM task is queued while the AR task runs. Once the AR task has finished running, the OM automatically executes:For more information, see: Creating custom transformations. PI GRAPH Transformation enhancements  We've made a number of enhancements to our Objects & Events transformations, including the following:Running arbitrary SQL: You can now run any SQL in the SQL editor, regardless of whether the ID column in populated. This enables you to write directly in the SQL editor, rather than returning to the Data Integration area to write a query. Script errors now highlighted: When running a transformation, script errors are now highlighted. A warning message is displaying which details the missing objects, lines, and columns, making it easier for you to locate and correct issues. Select perspectives when manually running data jobs: When executing an object-centric data jobs manually, you can now select the relevant perspective(s). The relevant transformations for this perspective are then run automatically. Duplicate primary key errors: Rather than waiting until the end of the pipeline for the data model load, duplicate primary keys now cause an error directly within the transformations. Dynamic sizing of information in transformations editor: You can now dynamically view relevant information such as the Data Source schema explorer without the need to expand/shrink panels. This reduces the number of clicks needed, significantly saving you time.For more information about modelling your objects and events, see: Creating custom transformations. PI GRAPH Upgrades to the import from table process  The Import from table process in the Objects and Events module has been updated with the following changes: When importing from a table, users can now create relationships between objects being imported and existing object types. Previously, relationships could only be created with other object types being imported. With this upgrade, the Target dropdown on the Create object to object relationship screen now includes “Existing Object Types” in addition to the objects being imported. Selecting one of these options allows users to create a relationship between an object being imported and those existing object types. If the user selects the foreign key from the source object, the transformation will still be created automatically when selecting an existing object type as the target. When creating an object type by importing from a table, users will now receive the Import from table prompt to choose their data source and begin the import process. Previously, users would see a blank screen and had to click the Import button again to begin the import process. This new prompt simplifies the import process and guides users through selecting their data source, choosing the tables to import and mapping the table columns. The process for creating new object types has been modified so that valid transformations will be enabled by default. When the new object type is created, the transformations will be validated automatically and set to “enabled” by default. The discard changes dialog has been updated for clarity. This dialog now reads “You have unfinished work” to communicate that the import process has not been completed. This dialog is only displayed if the tables have been selected and the user clicks the “Cancel” link. If the user clicks “Cancel” before selecting tables, the dialog will not be displayed and the user will return to the Objects screen. PROCESS ADHERENCE MANAGER Support added for dynamically-generated or relabelled events and case-centric data models  Process Adherence Manager now supports dynamically-generated or relabelled events, allowing you to specify the granularity of your process by adding attributes to existing event types. This means you don't need to know all the event types you'll need when you start creating your model; instead you can simply and flexibly add them as required.You can define dynamically-generated or relabelled events in the following ways:In the Object and Event Log Builder. In the Knowledge Model event log definition using PQL.You can also rename dynamically-generated or relabelled events in the PQL Editor.We’ve also added support for case-centric data models, meaning Process Adherence Manager now works for both object-centric and case-centric data models.To support these enhancements, provide better alignment with Studio and give a more consistent experience across the Celonis Platform, we've also made the following changes:Lead event logs are no longer used in Model Miner.  Dedicated event tables are no longer created for each event type; instead all event logs are added to a single Process Adherence Manager event table. When exploring deviations, data coverage now shows the percentage of all cases across all involved event logs (weighted average). We’ve removed the event/event log filter to improve consistency with Views.STUDIO Copying filters between Views [Private Preview] Any filters you set in a View can now also be copied into other Views within your Celonis Platform team, saving you from manually configuring them each time. Analyst users can create a KPI Group by selecting existing process-related KPIs or defining their own KPIs using the visual editor. The analyst can then share these KPI Groups with their end users who will be able to display these KPI Groups in the process graph of their Process Explorer or Variant Explorer. KPI Groups can be created for both case-centric (single event log, multi-event log) and object-centric process exploration components.NoteCustom KPI Groups are only available in Studio Views. For components created in Legacy Views, KPIs are still defined using YAML in the Knowledge Model.The new built-in visual editor allows users to create KPIs without advanced YAML skills and speeds up the creation process for new KPIs. Users are able to define KPIs directly in Studio without having to switch to the Knowledge Model or perform manual coding.Both KPI Groups and the individual KPIs within those groups are created and stored in a Knowledge Model. With this launch, we’re releasing a visual editor for the Python tool and allowing users to customize the tool. This editor can be added to the configuration settings of a Process Copilot as a tool to utilize both of these configuration methods.In the Intelligent Configuration, the Large Language Model (LLM) generates Python code based on the questions users ask to this Process Copilot. For Process Copilots utilizing the Intelligent Configuration, the Python code is generated ad-hoc as questions are asked. In the Intelligent Configuration, to run Python code, the LLM needs a dataset on which to run the code. To provide the Python tool with an available dataset, you need to have at least one data retrieval tool activated (get_data, pql_tool, get_process_data - depending on the use case). In the Custom Configuration you can manually define the dataset to run the Python code on. Users can then enter their Python code in an editable interface which will work dynamically to expand the code as it is written. This interface also allows users to define which inputs can be used as variables or parameters by end users when asking questions in the chat. By hiding these activities, the user can focus on the activities they are most interested in.NoteThis feature is only accessible in Process Explorer when using sliders to control the process graph and will not be available when using the panel.The menu is displayed in the upper right of the Process Explorer and shows both the total number of activities and the number of activities currently selected, such as 17 of 21 events in the multi-object screenshot below. After clicking to expand the menu, users can select the check boxes to indicate which activities to include in the process graph. Removing the check mark will cause an activity to be hidden. We've created it to improve on the platform adoption dashboard that was only available to admins in Celonis teams (see Platform adoption dashboard). The app includes views for you to track logins, active users, and usage of published Studio packages and apps, like you could with the platform adoption dashboard, but with more statistics and the improved functionality of the new Studio experience. Because it's a Marketplace app, you can give users who aren't admins permission to see the views. You can also edit the views, or create your own platform adoption tracking views based on the case-centric data model supplied with our extractor.To use the app, you'll need to enable the login history and the Studio tracking service in your Celonis team. The app can pseudonymize the identifiers for individual users - check whether your local legislation requires that. For the app documentation, see Platform Adoption Monitor app. PI GRAPH  Skip simple transformations until data model load  To reduce the time it takes to run your object-centric transformations, we now skip over any simple transformation scripts that don't include a join or WHERE clause, and aren't new or changed. We can do this for attribute scripts and relationship scripts (though relationship scripts usually will involve a join). We'll comment the skipped transformations out in the data pool, and replace them at publish time with a view that we only load when you load a perspective that uses the object type or event type. If you change the transformation script (or we do as part of an update to the Celonis catalog), we'll make the edits to the view when you republish your transformations.STUDIO Embedding external webpages using iframes in Views You can now embed iframes into your Studio Views, allowing you to display both static and dynamic external content within your applications. Static content: An iframe where the URL displayed doesn't change, for example Celonis.com. Static content is the same for all users. Dynamic content: An frames where a placeholder variable is used to determine the URL, often triggered by user inputs (such as entering a value or selecting from a list). This placeholder variable can be combined with other View components, including input boxes, input lists, and input dropdowns so users can dynamically view the iframe content relevant to them. In this dynamic content example, an input dropdown has been configured so the user can select different Celonis.com product pages to display in the frame.To learn more about embedding iframes to your Studio Views, see:  iframes STUDIO  Create and embed reusable View modules in Studio packages View modules are a package asset type that allow you to re-use configured View components across multiple Views within a Studio package. Instead of configuring each View from scratch, you can save time by centrally managing and then embedding a module to your View. And by editing a View module, all embedded instances of that module are automatically updated too. STUDIO Knowledge Model Link  The Knowledge Model Link in the PQL editor has been enhanced, enabling consistent naming and descriptions for your calculations across the Celonis Platform.Included in the Knowledge Model Link enhancements are:Read-only mode removed: You can now edit the content within the PQL editor, removing the previous link. Automatic re-linking: When reverting any edits you've made, the Knowledge Model Link automatically reappears. Auto-generated attributes supported: If an attribute is auto-generated, the Knowledge Model Link is now available. Component level overwrites: You can now change the display name, format, and unit for a component without losing the rest of the metadata.For more information about using the PQL editor, see: PQL editor.STUDIO Recently deleted package assets stored for 7 days Deleted package assets, such as Views and Knowledge Models, are now stored for 7 days in the Recently deleted area of your package settings. STUDIO EXPORT ALL service permissions added We've introduced an enhancement to our Studio service permissions that gives admins granular control over exporting content (i.e. packages, assets) to other teams. The EXPORT ALL permission, managed from the Permissions area of Admin & Settings, gives users the following abilities:Copy-To: The user can utilize the exporting functionalities copy-to to export package and asset configurations to other teams (i.e. instances). This feature can be accessed from within Studio by clicking Options - Copy to: Content-cli: The user can utilize the content-cli to export package and asset configurations.Currently, users with EDIT permissions can export content without restrictions. When this feature is introduced, these users will receive EXPORT_ALL permission by default to reflect their current capabilities, so they won’t be affected by the migration. We recommend reviewing which users shouldn't be able to export content outside of their teams, and to proactively remove the EXPORT_ALL permission.The EXPORT_ALL permission requires users to have EDIT permission to ensure proper access, without it, the content won’t be visible.For more information about Studio service permissions, see: Studio service permissions. STUDIO Chart component accessibility update  To improve our component accessibility and ensure sufficient contrast in data visualizations, we’ve introduced automatic mark borders on Studio charts. You can still use the existing "Custom processes" category for custom process tags, or you can create new categories in the Filters panel on the Objects and Events pages of the user interface.To add a new category, click the plus sign at the top of the Filters panel to open Add category at the end of the panel. Type the name of your new category and click Save to add it to the Filters panel. The category name can be up to 41 characters long (including spaces), and it must be different to the existing category names. Your new category appears in the Filters panel in edit mode. To add each custom tag, click Add tag. Type the tag name, then select the checkmark icon to add it. Custom tags can be up to 41 characters long (including spaces), and they must be unique across all the categories. When you've added all the tags you want, click Done. To edit the category name or one of the tags you've added to it, open the context menu (the three vertical dots) for the category, and select Edit. While you're in edit mode, you can rename a tag or the category, add or delete tags, or delete the whole category. PI GRAPH Issues to fix displayed in Objects and Events dashboard  The Issues to fix list is now generally available in all Celonis teams. In the Objects and Events dashboard, the list displays any critical issues that you need to fix in order to make your object-centric data model work. It includes issues that stop you from saving or publishing your model, issues that stop a transformation script from running, and errors while the data model for a perspective is loading. You can expand any item to see what the problem is and use the link to view it. If there aren't any critical errors, we'll tell you that too, so you don't have to look through the individual item lists and logs for critical errors. PROCESS DESIGNER Applied filters added to search results  With this release, you can now see all filters that have been applied to a search within the Process Designer.For more information about Celonis Process Management or the Process Designer, see: Process Designer User Guide. PROCESS NAVIGATOR Navigation and process journey enhancements  With this latest Process Navigator release, we've made the following enhancements:The Process Journal has been updated to include a Process Journey view. Event count filters enable you to select objects where an event occurs less or more times than a defined start and end threshold e.g. only objects where "Invoice paid" happens more than once.In this example, the Sales Order Activity event log will be filtered to show only the Confirm order event. Each Process Copilot is configured with one of your Knowledge Models to help you analyze your data using predefined prompts or asking your own questions to generate a response in a variety of formats.Each Process Copilot will only have access to the data you choose from the selected Knowledge Model. You can create multiple Process Copilots to work with different Knowledge Models or to focus on different use cases within your data.Once configured, Process Copilots can be utilized by any Apps user to answer questions regarding their data, build custom graphs and tables, or look for improvement opportunities within the data. These conversations are saved in the Celonis Platform and can be shared with other users with access to Studio.Users can interact with a Process Copilot through quickstart questions, template prompts, dropdown lists of suggested interactions or a free text field where they can ask their own questions. Admin users can also create their own KPIs or commonly asked questions that will be pinned to the start screen as a launching point for each new session.For more information, refer to Process Copilots. STUDIO Annotation Builders are now in General Availability  Studio’s new Annotation Builder is an AI-enhanced asset that enriches the data in your Process Intelligence Graph using Large Language Models to interpret your data.The Annotation Builder is a no-code environment that uses GenAI to structure your data and reason through it to generate decision and action recommendations. You will give Annotation Builder information and guidance in natural language describing how you want it to make decisions and it will use its ability to process natural language to determine which decision makes the most sense. Annotation Builder will produce AI annotations that enrich your data, making it more valuable for analysis and automation.For more information, see Annotation Builder. STUDIO New validation table for Annotation Builders  The Annotation Builder asset in Studio is introducing a new feature that generates a preconfigured "Validation Table" that allows analysts to evaluate the accuracy of the annotations being generated. This table includes the original data, the AI-generated annotations (e.g., predicted categories, reasoning, etc.), and columns where analysts can add their feedback directly into the table using free text fields and pre-populated dropdowns.Analysts can generate the validation table automatically by clicking the Use in a View button on the Annotation Builder screen. The validation tables can be added as a new View in Studio or embedded in an existing Studio View. The table is generated automatically based on the annotations generated with no additional set up or configuration required.In the validation table, analysts can review the individual annotations, add comments, and collect data to improve the prompts used by this Annotation Builder. If the analyst provides feedback in the validation table, the accuracy statistics for this Annotation Builder are updated automatically and displayed on the Annotation Builder overview screen. STUDIO Process Copilots for external systems  Process Copilots can now be created for use with external systems such as Microsoft Teams or Slack. These new Process Copilots serve as a conversational chat assistant that runs on the Celonis Platform while communicating with an external system via the Celonis Intelligence API. Users can post a message in Teams or Slack that is transmitted to a Process Copilot published on the Celonis Platform and the response from the Process Copilot is returned to the external system using the same API.These new Process Copilots are configured and published using the same steps as the current Process Copilots. Once the Process Copilot has been published, the Process Copilot API specification is customized to integrate with the external system. This API specification can be copied or downloaded to use when configuring the API connection in the external system.Note: When configuring the Process Copilot, note that tools containing View components cannot be used for this type of configuration.When the API is called from the external system, the integration is used to pass messages between the Celonis Platform and the external system. The connection to the Celonis Platform can be authenticated by using OAuth to provide user access or creating an application key to allow system access.For more information, see Create for external systems. STUDIO Plain text variable behavior updated When creating and using plain text variables (also known as runtime variables) in your Studio packages, the following behavior has been updated:The value of the plain text variable in Studio is now published to Apps, provided that this value remains unchanged in Apps (i.e. App user don’t update the variable in Apps, for example with an input). Previously, this value was published from Studio to Apps only the first time the variable was published.We've also added a column called Value in Apps, allowing you to efficiently view and reference the value of the variable within the existing app.For more information about Studio package variables, see: Variables STUDIO Component configuration UX updates  We've made a number of user experience enhancements to our Studio component configuration panels, including the following:Add data to component: You can now click 'Add data' within the component configuration, allowing you to select data via the PQL editor. Filter queries visually connected: Filters and query openers are now visually connected to their respective queries, so it’s easier to understand when multiple queries are present in a component. Breakdown selector / node switcher: In a table's breakdown selector and Network Explorer's node switcher, the radio button now highlights the default selection. You can also now expand or collapse these sections as needed. STUDIO Scheduling View reports This feature is currently available as a Private Preview only During a Private Preview, only customers who have agreed to our Private Preview usage agreements can access this feature. Additionally, the features documented here are subject to change and / or cancellation, so they may not be available to all users in future.For more information about our Private Preview releases, including the level of Support offered with them, see: Feature release types.In addition to manually exporting your Views as PDFs, you can now schedule automated emails to be sent with the View report PDFs attached. These emails can be sent on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis, with the ability to customize the email and the PDF settings for each report.You can schedule your Studio View reports within a View by clicking Share or export View - Schedule reports:Once scheduled, your Studio View reports can be edited, permanently deleted, and activated / deactivated depending on its status:For more information about scheduling View reports, see: View Reports. STUDIO Maximum View height increased  The maximum height for Studio View is now 10,000 pixels, having previously been set at 3,000 pixels. When editing a custom height View, your View height can be configured in two places:From the View settings menu: At the bottom of the View editing area: While the maximum height for custom Views is 10,000 pixels, we recommend designing your apps to focus on key themes, patterns, and focus areas. Designed to provide deeper insights and cover broader use cases within Task Mining, this enhanced app is ready for production use. The new version installs automatically when you create a new Task Mining project, or you can install it anytime from the Celonis Marketplace (search for 'Workforce Productivity').Key upgrades to the app include: New Overview Tab: Delivers quick, high-level summaries of key metrics. New Capacity Tab: Helps visualize and compare team and region capacity, and track trends over time. Improved Productivity Tab: Offers deeper analysis of work patterns and introduces a new idle category. Enhanced Settings: Change more settings to simplify app setup. Simplified App Classification: Features an easy-to-use in-app table for selecting productive applications. This feature allows users to create a new Process Copilot specifically for the data in the current Studio View without any additional configuration required. This new option will streamline the creation of a Process Copilot and give users a starting point to build upon. Users can still make additional changes to this Process Copilot by customizing the configuration settings. NoteAny components in the selected View that reference a PQL statement rather than a Knowledge Model item will not be included in the new Process Copilot.From any Studio View, users can select “Create Process Copilot” from the options menu and choose the type of Process Copilot to create. The Process Copilot is generated automatically and all the required configurations are completed based on the data in that Studio View.The new Process Copilot will have access to most of the data from the Knowledge Model for this Studio View. Any data in the Knowledge Model that is filtered out by an asset filter will not be available to the Process Copilot.Users can then start asking questions about their KPIs and attributes. For example, looking at the image above, users can ask questions such as “What’s my Net Order Value?” or “How are the Sales Orders broken down by Company Code?”. It is important to remember that this Process Copilot will only have access to the data from that Studio View and cannot answer questions about any of your data outside of that View.For more information, see Create a Process Copilot from a Studio View. STUDIO View preferences kept when re-entering View edit mode When previewing your Studio Views using the interactive mode, any View preferences you configure are now kept when you re-enter View edit mode. View preferences are unique to each user and created by their interactions with filters, user specific variables, and components.View preferences include, but aren't limited to, the following:Filters Variables Component states (such as column sizes and sorting in tables and selecting KPI list cards)When editing a Studio View, you can see when View preferences are applied by clicking the View preference icon:You can then click Restore default View to remove these preferences again.1:37For more information about creating and editing Studio Views, head to: Views.And to learn more about restoring to your default View, see: Restore default View. PI GRAPH Perspective logs shown with transformation logs  In the Data Jobs area of the data pool you're using with objects and events, you can now see the logs for the data model loads for all your perspectives, as well as the logs for your transformations. Previously you had to go to the Data Loads tab in the Data Models area of the data pool to view the logs for perspective loads, and select each individual perspective. The logs for the perspectives are still in that location as well if you want to view them there.You can see the logs for the perspectives together with the logs for the transformations in the object-centric process mining data jobs ocpm-data-job (for production) and test-ocpm-data-job (for development). The data model loads are also included in the execution time for the data job, which means the displayed execution time is likely to increase, but the total execution time across the data model loads and the transformations has not changed. This change lets us optimize performance for change-aware executions (see Executing data jobs). If you're using that limited availability feature, your total execution time across the data model loads and the transformations is likely to decrease. PI GRAPH Usability enhancements for modeling objects and events  We're making a range of improvements that you've requested, to enhance your experience of modeling and managing objects and events for object-centric process mining. Here are the latest changes: When you're importing object types from your source system data, we've added a search bar so you can search the available tables in the data source as an alternative to browsing them. We'll automatically check the transformations that we autogenerate for object types imported from a table, and enable any that are already valid. If you need to complete a transformation script manually, we'll leave it disabled. For the ID for an imported object type, you can now use a source data column with the data type FLOAT, as well as INT and STRING. We'll cast them all to the required data type STRING in the autogenerated transformation script. You can now use your data pool's global connection to deploy transformations for objects and events. From the Objects and Events dashboard, you now access the data pool in the same way, whether you're using one or multiple data pools for objects and events.  DATA INTEGRATION SAP ECC and S/4 HANA extractor version 3.9.6 ​​​​​​​The new version of SAP ECC and S/4 HANA extractor brings added protections against SQL injection vulnerabilities. These checks validate dynamic SQL statements, using the CL_ABAP_DYN_PRG class. The Value Framing view picks out opportunities for improvement in your Accounts Receivable process, including labor productivity, working capital, and revenue. Each value opportunity has its own tab for you to explore detailed metrics and get deeper insights into its business impact. When you’ve validated the opportunity, you can input your own framed value assessment for the Identified Value overview. For the instructions to upgrade the Starter Kit, see Updating the object-centric Accounts Receivable Starter Kit. BUSINESS APPS Procurement Starter Kit upgrade​​​​​​​For the latest version of the object-centric Procurement Starter Kit, which is built on the new Studio experience, we've upgraded the process execution model in the Process Cockpit to give you deeper insights into your procurement operations. The new model includes:Expanded coverage of changes to purchase orders, order items, and requisition items. Tracking of canceled invoice items. Visibility for goods receipts and their reversals. A comprehensive description of the Purchase to Pay and Procurement processes.We've also added new views to monitor and analyze KPIs for on-time delivery and on-time in-full delivery, purchasing behaviors such as contract usage, and automation activities.To upgrade, download version 2.8.0 of the object-centric Procurement Starter Kit from the Celonis Marketplace. If you want to migrate your existing setup, you can copy the Knowledge Model and Process Explorer from your previous version into the new Studio package. BUSINESS APPS Planning Parameter Optimization app upgrade In this release of the Planning Parameter Optimization app for Inventory Management, we've added tasks to update purchase lead times and production lead times. You can download the new version from the Celonis marketplace. Updating the object-centric Inventory Management Planning Parameter Optimization app has the instructions to update the app. BUSINESS APPS Payment Terms Harmonizer app upgrade​​​​​​​In this upgrade for the Payment Terms Harmonizer app for the Procurement process, we've added the Vendor Invoice and Accounting Documents objects, and the Renegotiate Contracts, Solve Mismatch, and Update Vendor Master Data tasks. With these you can include invoice data in your comparisons for a more complete picture, and easily take actions. Updating the Payment Terms Harmonizer app has the instructions to update.

The filtering capabilities in Process Explorer and Variant Explorer have been updated to allow users to filter their analyses by throughput time (TPT). Using this new feature, users can filter a view for cases where the processing time between two specified activities is either shorter or longer than the specified time period. This allows users to analyze the TPTs between any two events in the process, which can reduce the time required to identify insights.To use the TPT filter function, click the "Calculate throughput time" icon next to the first event and drag the arrow to the second event:Then use the date fields in the Throughput Time filter to set the time threshold and click Apply.Your view refreshes to only show cases where the throughput time between the two selected events falls within the specified range.For more information refer to Throughput time filtering or Throughput time filtering.
