Hey Community, Let Us Introduce Ourselves!
We’re the people behind this group, helping to get the community started and keep it moving:
Jan-Peter van der Steege — Marcadus
Hi, my name is Jan-peter (JP) and after spending quite some time at the Celonis Community I’m happy to contributor to this Domain Group. I’m a Senior Process Mining Specialist at Marcadus and work with Celonis for 8 years in different roles. (Real Time) data integration, complex PQL and Value Realization coaching are my favorite aspects of the platform, which matches my background in Business Information System Integrations and as Six Sigma practitioner perfectly.
With the launch of the Celonis Object Centric graph, I’m working closely with companies to map their Business Processes towards it. While this works quite well for the known processes, Asset Management and Maintenance was lacking, despite the fact that effects of this process can disturb both the Production and Supply Chain. At Marcadus we decided to build or own Maintenance Suites to cover this. We know that other companies has done this as well. Our mantra at Marcadus is ‘Together we know more’ which was the primary reason to start this group!
My digital work is extended in my personal life, where I’m very passionate about music and lighting design, hosting/supporting various coding projects and events around that.
Fernando García Gutiérrez — Celonis
I’m a Platform Apps Manager, Celonis’ main point of contact with platform partners, helping them turn their ideas and expertise into sellable products at Celonis. I’ve been at Celonis for 5 years now, previously in client-facing roles, with prior experience in consulting.
I’m an engineer by studies and want to help apply technology to improve real world problems for our clients.
Marlijn Schepens — Marcadus
I’m a Senior Process Mining Specialist at Marcadus. My background is in Operations Management and Logistics, which is also where my interest in operational processes, maintenance and asset-intensive environments started.
I have been working with Celonis for over five years, across different roles, companies and industries, with a strong focus on translating process data into practical improvements. Over the past few years, Asset Management and Maintenance has become an increasingly important part of my work. What I find especially interesting about this domain is the combination of operational processes, data and very tangible real-world challenges.
I’m looking forward to learning from the experiences of others in this community, exchanging ideas and bring people together across companies, roles and industries.
Outside of work, I clearly prefer things that move: I enjoy sailing, cycling, horse riding and motorcycle riding. So whether it has sails, pedals, four legs or an engine, there’s a good chance I’ll enjoy it.
Why this community?
Asset Management and Maintenance challenges are rarely unique to a single organization. A maintenance planner, asset manager, process specialist, developer or operational leader may work in very different industries but often face surprisingly similar questions.
That is why we want this community to bring together different roles, industries and levels of Celonis experience. The goal is to create a place where members can learn from each other, discover new approaches and take practical ideas back into their own work.
In the long term, we hope this becomes a self-sustaining community where Asset Management and Maintenance professionals turn to each other for knowledge, inspiration and support, with the conversations increasingly driven by the members themselves.
What You Can Expect From This Group
We want this to be an active, practical and experience-driven community.
You can expect:
- Real-world use cases and lessons learned from organizations working on Asset Management and Maintenance challenges
- Discussions around common challenges, approaches and best practices
- Knowledge sharing across industries and roles
- Relevant Celonis developments and examples
- Events, discussions and opportunities to connect with peers
- Q&A and peer support, no question is too big, too small, or ever stupid, so ask away!
- Member stories and experiences
- Discussion starters around topics that matter in the day-to-day reality of maintenance and asset management
Most importantly, we don’t want this to become a one-way content channel. We want members to ask questions, share what works, what doesn’t, and learn from people facing similar challenges.
