Celonis cluster

#1

Hello all.

The Celonis Operations manual only briefly mentions the Celonis node cluster option as a way to scale up.

Does anybody have the real life experience with Celonis node clusters? If so, what are the benefits against simply starting multiple Celonis servers?

Hi Nicks.si,

I see that you have the same need for information about setting up Celonis with different nodes for scaling up, already some time ago.
Did you receive some information about the Celonis Node Cluster option?

We are facing some performance issues with Celonis currently.

No, no feedback yet.

Hi Nick and Rachied,

I copy the answer of Manu in another thread also here:
We would highly recommend everyone to update to Celonis 4.5 which will reduce the load on your system significantly.
This will avoid you the pain of server administration in a scale out scenario. We can add worker nodes to the system and distribute single data models to a separate server. But our recommended setup is a single server and scaling up that server instead of building a scale-out scenario.

So to your question, Nick:
We don’t think there is not such a big benefit when going though the hazzle of maintaining and controlling node-cluster against your suggested method.

Best regards,
Michael
