Proportion of #Change activity / # Cases ratio for P2P process

#1

Hello,

I have a variable fed dimension and I want to know for the line item of this variable the following ratio:
#of Change Activity/ # Cases

My OLAP table has the variable set up to LFA1.LIFNR and I want the third column of the table to be # of Change Activity/ # Cases the vendor has had.

with # of Change Acitivty = SUM(MATCH_ACTIVITIES(NODE_ANY[‘Change Price’, ‘Change Quantity’, ‘Change Approval for Purchase Order’, ‘Change Currency’, ‘Change Delivery Indicator’, ‘Change Outward Delivery Indicator’, ‘Change Storage Location’, ‘Change Vendor’] ))

and # of Cases = COUNT_TABLE(“P2P_EKPO”)

The process modeled by activity table is P2P.

Probably I need to use a PU_funktion but I have no idea how to work it out.

Any help is highly appreciated!

Hi Clara,

the way you are computing it is actually correct.

You should have as numerator:
SUM(MATCH_ACTIVITIES(NODE_ANY[‘Change Price’, ‘Change Quantity’, ‘Change Approval for Purchase Order’, ‘Change Currency’, ‘Change Delivery Indicator’, ‘Change Outward Delivery Indicator’, ‘Change Storage Location’, ‘Change Vendor’] ))
and as denominator:
COUNT_TABLE(“P2P_EKPO”).

Since this very likely the result is a decimal number, add to the numerator *1.0 (which forces it to be a float) and in Edit formula select as formatting “Decimal Number (#,##)”.
This should give you the desired result.
